Description

Logobot is probably the most recognizable of all the bots made at CRC since it is the logo. That makes everything with the CRC logo on it as merch for Logobot. Logobot uses a high pressure pincer to grab and stab opponents. The pincer can go straight through all but the thickest of robot armors allowing Logobot to pierce through armor and damage an opponent's vulnerable electronics.

Design

Logobot's design is inspired by the team's logo. This proved a little bit of a challenge during the initial design as the logo was never meant to be a real robot. Logobot features sleek and modern lines that are prominent on the logo itself. An additional challenge encountered while making Logobot was the need for a third wheel that fit inside the body but did not impact the side profile to keep the bot true to its origins. Eventually an omni wheel design was adopted for the middle wheel which would not impact Logobot's ability to turn. Logobot's high pressure pincer uses a mechanical corkscrew that is spun using a high torque motor to create tremendous strength in a small device that could be hidden away to allow Logobot to maintain its side profile.
