Description
Hanako is based on a mischievous ghost in a manga that one of the designers of this bot particularly liked. His chassis is a shiny, metallic blue because he can be, and it is the favorite color of the particular designer. However, contrary to his namesake character, he is actually quite stoic, calm, and collected. His presence is quiet but deadly. Its calm and collected demeanor hides the fierce and lethal nature of its combat capabilities. Opponents may underestimate Hanako due to its unassuming presence, only to be surprised by its formidable performance in battle.
Design
Hanako is a vertical spinner with 4 rapidly spinning steel saws standing out from a ramp. When active, it becomes a destructive force capable of causing significant damage to opponents. They serve a dual purpose: defense and offense. While they can inflict damage on opponents directly, they also act as a protective barrier, making it difficult for opponents to get too close. He uses his ramp to ram his opponents into said saws which then grinds up any opponent and flings them in the air. Once in contact, the saws can tear into the opponent's armor, electronics, or weapon systems, rendering them vulnerable.
